What about description?

This has a nice style, superb colouring. The picture crops at ther girl at the front's forehead which perhaps isn't too good; and the little lens flare doesn't go with the rest. That's small faults in a otherwise lovely painting though.

The spear does not look like it touches anything, the hand does not hold it. There's nothing to indicate its position relative to the hand, not even a tiniest shadow, and the hand itself confusingly looks like it's hooked in the belt - but the spear does not cause any change in the body and clothing either. It just "floats". That's what you get for not thinking of color interaction, see? It's not just about disappointingly flat color.
